Dr. Carolina Nocetti has a longstanding interest in the therapeutic potential of natural compounds. During medical school she started to develop products derived from extracts of fruits from the Amazon. In the USA, Carolina obtained ECFMG certification (Educational Commission For Foreign Medical Graduates) and extended her studies to cannabis used for medicinal purposes.
Dr. Carolina Nocetti is the founder of the International Cannabis Academy (InterCan), a Brazilian education company. She is also founder of InterDoc, a hub of professionals with experience in cannabinoid therapeutic strategy and management, that serves patients in Brazil and worldwide. She has worked in the main production centers in Colorado and California.
Dr. Carolina Nocetti lived in the US for 10 years and dedicated 7 years to the cannabis ecosystem. She has 5 years of experience in cannabis R&D, participating in the development of therapeutic products derived from cannabis and custom formulations in Los Angeles for two and a half years, where she’s worked as Technical Consultant and Medical Director.
Currently living in Brazil, Carolina’s clinical practice is exclusively dedicated to patients that have indication for cannabis use. She also works in corporate technical consultancy, education and public advocacy, participating in public hearings in the Brazilian Senate, House of Representatives and State Assembly.
